Ice EQ, winner of major awards in the USA and Great Britain and used by both the German and Swiss Olympic Equestrian Teams, is now coming to Australia.Cool Relief for Horses Developed specifically for horses, Liquid Ice EQ is a cooling, compression bandage that needs no refrigeration, is ready for immediate use from the pocket or bag and gives direct relief to sprains, strains, swelling and bruising. This ice wrap is lightweight and will not impede the horse's movement, so it is the ideal treatment for knees and hocks, considered difficult to treat - until now. Not only is relief delivered quickly and directly, but also recovery times have been reduced up to 70% with the use Liquid Ice EQ. The bandage cools gradually and naturally through evaporative cooling and eases the strain without damaging any tissue. It is now recognised by veterinary surgeons that have used it, as the most effective way of treating strains, sprains and swelling.
The Liquid Ice EQ Vet Pack comes to the market having been developed and tested under the supervision of a group of International Veterinary Surgeons who have tested it within the guidelines of Jockey Club regulations. The new Vet Pack contains 2 NeoCool Wraps and 1 Recharger, which means that the wraps can be used again and again, giving over 200 hours of cooling. These bleached stretched-cotton bandages are latex free and washable with double reference lines that maximise cooling and aid compression.   |
